Dream and plan at Grand Designs Live on 5-13 May

Grand Designs Live, the show that links up with the UK’s favourite aspirational Self Build TV show, comes to London’s ExCel on the 5-13 May for nine days of inspiration and practical advice.

As well as new and popular products for the homes market, Grand Designs Live features over 500 exhibitors across six different sections – everything you need for your Self Build, Custom Build or renovation project, however large or small.

Fronted by presenter and design guru Kevin McCloud, the week is dominated by the non-stop Grand Theatre. It’s got a packed timetable of practical and thought-provoking content that will support your project, whether you’re putting together scrap books of ideas or halfway through your project.

Among the theatre highlights is the opportunity to Meet the Grand Designers, where people featured on the show share their experiences and knowledge with you.
But there’s plenty more on offer, from debates about plastics and recycling to practical top tips that will help you realise your own home-building project.

There’s plenty of hands-on events where you can get stuck in and have a go yourself, as well as an area bringing you updates on Kevin’s Green Heroes!

An essential aspect of the show is the opportunity to ask an expert, with RIBA architects, interior designers, landscape gardeners, financial, planners and eco experts on hand to discuss your own grand design in free 30-minute consultations. But this is a popular slot and the pre-bookable sessions are already open, so don’t delay! Bring your plans, drawings and budgets to get the most out of your session.

Grand Designs Live is proud to be partnering National Custom and Self Build Week, 7-13 May, with a series of content designed to support aspirational and existing Custom and Self Builders across the week, helping them make their dream become a reality.

A NaCSBA initiative, National Custom and Self Build Week, 7-13 May 2018, is working to get more people signed up to their Right to Build registers at www.righttobuildportal.org

NaCSBA supporters can get two free tickets for Grand Designs Live May by visiting the events page.
