Personal Information

We will use any personal information you give us to operate this website and enhance our services to you.

We may also contact you by email, post or otherwise from time to time with information concerning additional materials, products or services which may be of interest to you. We may also disclose your information to third parties who may contact you for that purpose. Please contact us if you do not want us to use your information for this purpose.

We may use "cookies" when you access the website. Cookies are small bits of code, which are usually stored on your computer’s hard drive, designed to enable the website to operate more efficiently and which may store your personal information (depending on your computer facilities).

Need-a-Plot

If you are a user of the "'Need-a-Plot' service" ("the Service"), other users may contact you, via the email address supplied by you, with offers of land.

By using the 'Add your Need-a-Plot information' element of the Service, you will only advertise your need for land and will not advertise existing land that you possess.

You will not use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages, unsolicited junk messages, SPAM or any other message to other users. If you breach this Condition of Use, we may terminate your account.

Users of the Service may not publish offensive content; this includes content that contains offensive language, overtly sexually explicit content, is unlawful, threatening, libelous, abusive, harmful, bigoted, racially offensive, obscene or harassing. Further, users may not publish content that encourages behaviour that may constitute a criminal offence, result in civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or regulation. Whilst the website aims to moderate all content, the website does not guarantee that offensive or inappropriate material will be immediately removed or deleted from the website. Failure by the website to remove or delete offensive or inappropriate content does not waive our right to remove or delete offensive or inappropriate content in subsequent or similar cases.

Suppliers Directory

The suppliers listed in the "Suppliers Directory" ("the Directory") that are members of NaSBA are organisations that actively support the self/custom build sector. However, these organisations have not been vetted by NaSBA and NaSBA does not endorse these companies in any way. Nor will NaSBA be held responsible for the content that is held on any third party websites listed.

By submitting information via the "the Directory 'Listing Entry page'" ("Listing Entry"), you will only advertise your services as a supplier to the self and custom build sector.

If you choose to answer 'Yes' to the question "Are you a NaSBA member?" when submitting information via the Listing Entry, your NaSBA membership will be subsequently verified before publication of your listing. If, upon verification, you are found not to be a NaSBA member, you will be liable to receive an invoice for a full year's membership.

Users of the Listing Entry must not submit offensive content; this includes content that contains offensive language, overtly sexually explicit content, is unlawful, threatening, libelous, abusive, harmful, bigoted, racially offensive, obscene or harassing. Further, users must not publish content that encourages behaviour that may constitute a criminal offence, result in civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or regulation. Whilst the website aims to moderate all content, the website does not guarantee that offensive or inappropriate material will be immediately removed or deleted from the Directory. Failure by the website to remove or delete offensive or inappropriate content does not waive our right to remove or delete offensive or inappropriate content in subsequent or similar cases.

Discussion forums

The forums are a public system and as such NaSBA takes no responsibility for the views expressed in messages posted to any discussion. Any views expressed are those of individuals, and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of NaSBA.

NaSBA does not verify, confirm or accept any responsibility for any of the information, advice or material provided on and of the NaSBA’s forums. If you use any of the information, advice or material posted on these forums, you do so solely at your own risk.
